Talented Lower Sixth student, Will, recently performed in The Miller Centre Theatre Monologues.
The series is written and performed by members and friends of the theatre company, whilst its building remains closed. Entitled ‘Still here’, the monologue was written by Alison Monaghan and Abbie Kell.
Earlier this year, Will also played Edwards in The Miller Centre Theatre’s February production of Blue Stockings by Jessica Swale; a tale about female graduates at Cambridge fighting for their rights to an education. He is also a member of the National Youth Theatre.
Will explains: “It is about a young man, with no family or friends, who has been in an induced coma for an extended period of time. In it, he discusses the act of hugging and how it is vital to our lives. I feel we can all relate to this man’s struggles, as we all isolate at home in lockdown.”
Thanks for sharing this with us, Will.
