11+ Admissions

A welcoming, ambitious Year 7 with opportunities to get involved, make friends and find your place.
September 2027 marks an exciting new chapter at Trinity, as girls and boys join our first fully co-educational Year 7.

We expect to welcome between 70 and 100 girls alongside around 100 boys, creating a vibrant year group where students can make new friends, discover new interests and get involved in everything Trinity has to offer.

Our induction programme, including the New Joiners’ Morning and water sports trips, is designed to make the move from primary or prep school as smooth and welcoming as possible. Before term begins, students have opportunities to meet other new joiners, and once at Trinity they are quickly supported by their teachers, tutors and the wider school community.

With class sizes of around 21, teachers get to know students quickly. Every student in our Lower School also has a Sixth Form mentor: an older student who remembers what it feels like to be new and can offer friendly advice and support.

Applications for September 2027 entry close Friday 16 October 2026.

Meet

Our 11+ entrance assessment helps us get to know your child and understand how they think, as well as what they know. Candidates complete both a computer-based assessment and written papers.

Students who are successful in the entrance assessment will then be invited to an academic interview with a member of our teaching staff.

The interview is an opportunity for us to get to know your child better and hear about their interests, ideas and engagement with the world around them. We’re interested in their ability to think laterally and are looking for students who will flourish at Trinity and make the most of the academic and co-curricular opportunities available here.
