Trips

A wide range of departments at Trinity offer educational visits to a variety of destinations both within the UK and across the globe.

Exploration and adventure

We run a huge number of trips every year, from day trips up to London to visit the theatre or attend lectures, to the more ambitious and exotic. Our students learn so much about themselves and each other when you take them out of their usual environment.

Overseas educational visits have included trips to the USA, Malaysia, China and Taiwan, France, Iceland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and Croatia, as well as the annual ski trip.

We are also lucky enough to be able to use our Boetius Centre in Wales, where students enjoy action-packed team-building trips and partake in activities such as rock climbing, caving and gorge walking. This is just one of the many domestic visits, field trips and activities our students enjoy.

Sports Tours

The Sports Department carries out frequent sports tours to places such as South Africa, Japan, UAE, Australia and the USA as well as running training camps in Spain, Poland and Portugal.

Department Trips

Ultimately, we want our whole community to develop a curiosity and zest for life beyond the classroom and to believe that they can make a positive difference to the world around us.

Proactive engagement on a local, national and international level helps to develop this sense of adventure.

New skills

This range of activities outside our four walls is designed to develop teamwork, self-reliance, leadership, responsibility and a sense of public service as well as widening the horizons of our students.

At the forefront of my mind is visiting Malawi and how much I appreciated this experience.

Volunteering in Malawi

We also enjoy a partnership with a school in Chipwepwete, Malawi, and a team of our staff and students visit each year to teach, learn, and get involved with wider community work.
