J Bug and sports scholar, Robbie Taylor, recently came second in the U12 category at the LTA Youth National Series and will go through the finals, which is for the top eight players in the country.

Ian Kench, Director of Sport, says: “Robbie has shown a fantastic attitude since joining Trinity in September. We have been hugely impressed with his attitude across all sports and his determination to stay active over the remote learning period was commendable. This achievement is incredibly well deserved.”

The final will take place on 3 May at Corby Tennis Centre.

Good luck, Robbie!

“I am sure you will agree that coming second in this regional event - and in the year group above him - is a great achievement. Surrey has traditionally been an extremely hard region to reach the last eight in and Robbie has now put himself in a strong position to attack the national finals.”
