Over 100 students took part in our our annual Lower School Swimming Sports event last month.
The event, which has taken place for over 50 years was full of anticipation and excitement.
Zain Lam was the stand out performer on the day, breaking two school records (25m butterfly and 50m breast stroke).
Form winners are as follows:
Junior Year – JB – 58 points
First Year – Joint 1B and 1PĀ – 41 points
Second Year – 2K – 53 points
Third Year – 3G – 40 points
Head of Aquatics Sean King said “It’s great to see so many of our Lower School pupils involved in swimming sports. We are very proud of Zain, who followed up his fine performance in the London Regional Championships, by breaking two school records. We are also very proud of the many other students who took part, having struggled to complete a length when they first joined the school. Due to the success of this event we are hoping to run a Middle School swimming sports event next year during the autumn term, which will mean all students from Junior to Fifth Year will have the opportunity to compete”.
