Trinity’s footballers have made history this season, with the U13 and U15 teams reaching the Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) Trophy National Final for the first time. A big congratulations to both teams.

The U13A team (pictured above) recently played Leeds Grammar School in the semi-final and won the match 4-0. They will be facing Truro in the national final on Tuesday 12 March at 4.30pm, hosted by Burnham FC.

The U15A team played Downsend School in their semi-final and beat them 6-1. They will play The Grange on Wednesday 20 March at 12.30pm kick-off, hosted by Beaconsfield Town FC.

Both teams have been playing football together incredibly well and deserve to see their hard work pay off. They both reached the quarter finals of the English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) Cup in the 2022/23 season and were unlucky to be knocked out.

Reaching the first ever national final demonstrates the growth in football at Trinity over the last 5-10 years. The level of participation has increased, we have more teams at every age level than ever before, play 150+ fixtures every year and enter more cups. We now have a lot of students playing for football academies outside of school, including Chelsea, Charlton FC, Brighton & Hove Albion.

We wish both teams all the best for the finals!
