A huge congratulations to Fifth Year student Dylan, who has been selected to represent the Independent Schools’ Football Association (ISFA) at U16 level and recently received his official ISFA cap.
Dylan has been playing football since he was seven years old and has gone from strength to strength both at Trinity and with his club side, Bromley FC. Reflecting on his football journey so far, he points to one standout Trinity memory in particular: winning the ISFA national trophy at U15 level while playing a year above his age group.
His latest achievement came after being nominated by Head of Football Mr Wilson to attend a three-day ISFA trial camp at Shrewsbury School. Following a demanding selection process, Dylan earned his place in the national squad.
“It was an honour to receive the cap and it’s something I’m really proud of,” he said.
Mr Wilson said, “Dylan’s selection for the ISFA team is a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved. He has shown real commitment to his development over the years, and it has been a pleasure to see his confidence and ability grow both at Trinity and with his club. Representing the National side is a huge milestone, and we’re all incredibly proud of him!”
Representing ISFA involves regular training camps and fixtures throughout the school year, with players coming together each half term for training and matches against other national sides. Receiving a cap is a significant milestone and marks a player’s appearance in an official national fixture.
Well done Dylan!
