Last Friday, we had an incredible afternoon of hockey as over 130 pupils from the First Year took part in competitive fixtures against Langley Park School. It was a fantastic display of school spirit and sport, with every student in the year involved unless they were away on trips or absent.
A special highlight was that Trinity fielded U12 A to L hockey teams, marking a significant milestone for the school as the K and L teams were selected for the very first time in our history! This is a huge achievement and really shows the depth of talent and enthusiasm among our First-Year students.
Mr Giles, Head of Hockey, said, “There were so many debutants across all teams, and it was brilliant to see everyone giving their all, learning the game, and truly getting involved. Whether they were seasoned players or taking to the field for the first time, the students’ effort and commitment were inspiring. Well done to everyone who took part!”

Two Sixth Form students have recently been selected for GB EDP and talk about how Trinity provides opportunities for students to play high level hockey, but always ensuring it is enjoyable.
