Trinity alumnus, Gabriel Ibitoye, has signed a new contract with Harlequins.

Gabriel, who left Trinity in 2016, has been with Harlequins since the age of 12.

He joined the Harlequins Academy for the 2016/17 season, making his first senior Harlequins appearance in November 2017.

Gabriel has represented England at U18 and U20 level, winning the 2017 U20 Six Nations and finishing as England’s top try scorer at the U20 World Rugby Championship of the same year. Gabriel was also named in Eddie Jones’ training squad for the 2018 Six Nations.

Head of Rugby at Harlequins, Paul Gustard, said: “Gabs is a great talent, he is a truly electric winger who is helping us build a winning ethos at the Club. The exciting thing for me is that he is so young and with so much potential, I look forward to him being part of a very successful Harlequins squad”.

On his re-signing, Gabriel said: “This is my club and The Stoop is my second home so it is brilliant to be signing a new contract and now I am just hungry to start winning things with Harlequins”.
