Trinity students were recently very successful at the Croydon Rotary Club photography competition.
Jack Lowndes won first prize for the Under 17 category, as well as being awarded the Curator’s prize. He will spend a day with a professional photographer and has been given the opportunity to have his own exhibition in the gallery.
Suray Vijayanand won the ‘People’s Choice Award’, for which members of the public had voted.
Benedict Hill and Daniel Gilbert were given Special Commendations for their photographs.
In total nineteen photographs taken by nine students were entered this year, where the theme was Street Life. The photo included in this story is one of Jack’s submissions.
