London Keys ensemble was formed in 2024 when Daria Bitsiuk and Iain Laks met through their work as ABRSM music examiners.

Pianist and teacher Daria Bitsiuk (BMus, MMus, PGCert in Performance Teaching) began playing the piano at the age of six. For over two decades, Daria has been playing in solo, chamber music and orchestral concerts across Europe. She is based in the UK, and has taught in Ukraine, Portugal, and China. Daria studied piano performance and performance teaching in Kyiv at the Lysenko Specialist Music School and the Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, in Manchester at the Royal Northern College of Music, and in London at the Guildhall School.  Daria has recorded music by London-based composer Aleah Morrison-Basu for the album Evolving Reflexions and she also teaches at Junior Guildhall and Trinity schools

Iain Laks was born in Vancouver, Canada, but most of his early life was spent in Michigan. Moving to England for sixth-form led to an undergraduate degree at Birmingham Conservatoire, and postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Music. Many years of lessons and friendship with his teacher, Simon Nicholls, inspired appreciation and knowledge for early musical styles up to contemporary, and in particular the ecstatic music of Alexander Scriabin. Iain teaches piano and lives in north London with his wife and two daughters, also musicians.

General admission £12

I have never enjoyed Haydn Trios as much as in these performances. Aquinas’ easy-going spirit is captivating
