Our U13 Water Polo team have qualified for the English Schools Swimming Association (ESSA) National Final, which takes place on the 8th May, after two wins against Colfe’s and Dulwich College.

With scores of 8-1 against Colfe’s and 3-2 against Dulwich College, this is the 2nd year running Trinity has qualified for the ESSA Final in all four National competitions that we enter (U13, U15 & U18 Boys & U18 Girls).

Head of Trinity Aquatics, Sean King, said: “As we finished 2nd in our first round group, we always knew we would need to beat a group winner in order to qualify for the National Final. The Dulwich College game was very tight, but in the 2nd quarter we very much took control of the match and two fine solo efforts from First Year Pierre Rivet put us into a commanding 3-1 lead. Dulwich College scored their 2nd goal with 40 seconds remaining in the game but the boys managed to hold on. The final will be a fantastic experience for the boys and I am delighted their hard work and dedication has been rewarded with a place in the top 6 schools in the country.”
