We were delighted to welcome author Paul Dowswell to Trinity to talk to our Lower School students.
Paul presented his Trinity Schools Book Award 2019 (TSBA) shortlisted work Ausländer (published in 2010) to the captivated group.
He talked to the Junior, First and Second Year boys about anti-Semitism and what it was like to be growing up in Nazi Germany, illustrating his discussion with propaganda, comic book illustrations and music.
Paul signed copies of the book for our students at the event (supported by Browns Books for Students).
Nicholas Bowling, author of Witchborn, was voted winner of the TSBA 2019 at Trinity. We eagerly await the Award Ceremony at Caterham School on 15 March to reveal the favourite for the Trinity Schools’ Group.
