Trinity students showcase talent and skills at Guitar competition

Many of our students recently took part in our annual guitar competition.

Our adjudicator, Graham Roberts – who is currently Head of Guitar Studies at both Radley College and Rugby School – was very impressed by the talent shown by our students.

Graham offered concise, incisive and constructive criticism for each contestant in a positive and encouraging manner.

The results of the competition are as follows:

Grades 7-8 Classical Guitar 

1st: Joseph Jenkins (First Year)

Highly Commended: Dominic Holland (First Year)

Grades 4-6 Classical Guitar 

1st: Jamie Khandke (Second Year)

2nd: Maksim Lalic (First Year) and Jamie Willis (Junior Year)

Grades 4-6 Electric Guitar 

1st: Jasper Bew (First Year)

Highly Commended: Nicholas Challier (Fourth Year) and Finn Harris (Lower Sixth)

Grades 0-3 Classical 

1st: Shayaan Ali (First Year)

2nd: Robert Wilding (Second Year)

3rd: Oliver Wilcox (Second Year)

Highly Commended: Suhaan Verma (Junior Year)

Grades 0-3 Electric (4)

1st: George Brown (Second Year)
