Trinity students enjoy sailing trip to Poole Harbour

Co-curricular | 6th June 2019

A group of our Lower School students enjoyed a visit to Poole Harbour for a week of sailing in half term.

The boys spent five days completing their RYA sailing qualifications, and all of them progressed at least one level during their time on the water.

The glorious weather made for perfect sailing conditions, but the group also spent time on land learning the theory of sailing and practising their knots.

It was a busy week that also included evening activities such as beach games, visiting Splashdown water park, team challenges at Lazerquest, bowling and a meal at TGI Fridays.

On our final day our instructors took the group out on the water in small catamarans, which was an exhilarating way to finish the week.
