Two soloists from Trinity Boys Choir played starring roles in prestigious concerts recently.
Congratulations to Daniel Todd, who sang in four Christmas concerts with The London Mozart Players. Daniel sung a number of solo pieces in each concert and a member of the audience at one concert felt compelled to write in appreciation to the school: “Could I please take this opportunity to drop you a brief line to say how impressed the audience at St John’s Christmas carol service was on Saturday? Daniel held everybody enraptured with his fine singing throughout. He is surely a star in the making. He is certainly a great credit to the school and perhaps more importantly the wider community.”
Congratulations also to Leo Jemison who sang with Sarah Brightman and Aled Jones in the streamed concert A Christmas Symphony. Leo sang Pie Jesu with Sarah Brightman and Walking in the Air with Aled Jones.
The Music Director wrote to Leo afterwards: “Leo – you did such a fantastic job. Congratulations! It was a real highlight of the show and Aled and Sarah loved performing with you.”
Leo also recorded a solo for a US horror film soundtrack at 30 minutes’ notice in our studio just before this concert!
Very well done to both boys!
