This week, almost 30 students from across the school took part in the second-ever annual Trinity Drama Showcase, providing an evening of entertainment for friends and family in the Mitre.

The evening included brilliant performances from the new Musical Theatre Club, ably accompanied by Upper Sixth student Senaya Wimalasuriya on the keyboard.

Drama scholars and LAMDA students performed monologues and duologues of their choosing, some using the opportunity to return to their initial scholarship pieces and others exploring texts they are using for Drama school auditions.

Miss Robinson, Director of Drama, said “Students should be exceptionally proud of the work they have put into rehearsing these pieces. At such a busy time of term, it was lovely to celebrate their love for performing, and a joy to see students of different year groups celebrating and performing together.”
