It was another fantastic turnout for our alumni drinks at the historic Horniman at Hays pub in London Bridge last week.
With close to 90 people in attendance, every decade was represented from the 1960s all the way up to the 2020s. This is testament to what a connected and social group our Trinity alumni are! It was also wonderful to welcome twelve alumni who had never been to one of events before and a further 15 who we hadn’t seen for quite a few years.
New friendships were made, and old ones rekindled. The relaxed nature of the drinks event certainly makes it an easy one to pop along to, even if you’ve not been back for a while. We welcome everyone back with open arms and a warm smile!
We enjoyed hearing news from our alumni, and also sharing how many former students have been coming back to school to speak to our current students, which is so beneficial. This week alone, we have 12 alumni visiting us as part of National Careers Week to inspire Fourth Year students and above who are considering their futures. We’re delighted this also coincides with International Women’s Day and have two alumnae pursuing careers in the Civil Service and HM Treasury speaking to students during Politics Society.
