Third Year students explored the myth, culture and modernity of Chinese cinema on a recent trip to the British Film Institute.
The students viewed a wide range of film clips and took part in lively discussions throughout the day.
The group took part in activities to explore vocabularies and expressions used in Chinese films, and actively engaged in role-plays and oral presentations.
The programme ended with a BBC documentary on the representative-election at a primary school in Wuhan, which brought the discussion to a more advanced level.
Peishu Lin, Head of Chinese said: “This was an educational and entertaining trip, enjoyed by all our students”.
