We are so pleased for our Fifth Year students and their families.

After the most unusual and disrupted two years of school, they have negotiated the requirements of the teacher assessed grade process extremely well and 94% of all their grades were 9, 8 or 7.

Out of the 136 students in the year group, 40 achieved nine or more 9 grades, and 119 students achieved a 9 grade in at least one of their subjects.

Many congratulations go to all our students.

The last academic year felt like a very long one to any student who had public exams, and these students have come through it remarkably well.  Behind the bare results they have shown a lot of character and perseverance, and they have developed skills which will serve them well in their future study and work. We are very proud of the way they have supported each other too, and look forward to working with them in the Sixth Form.

Alasdair Kennedy, Headmaster
