A new issue of the student-produced science magazine Ingenium has just been launched by editor-in-chief Ansh (Upper Sixth) and a team of talented science writers.
It features news and feature articles on the latest scientific developments written by A Level scientists. Topics covered in this issue range from Proton Beam Therapy to machine learning, and the editorial team hope it will spark a passion for learning and fuel the curiosity of all scientists in the Trinity community.

Physics student Ansh, Editor-in-Chief of Ingenium, says, “Being EIC of Ingenium has been a really enjoyable experience these past few years. It has helped me to overcome many challenges and develop skills of leadership, design and writing in a way that I’m sure will be instrumental for my future.
“This issue wouldn’t have been possible without our talented team of writers: Caitlin, Matthew, Finn, Tom, Serena, Mimi, Caden and Jacob. I hope you find their work inspiring and that you too have gained the resolve to push the boundaries beyond the syllabus.
“Writing is an ability often overlooked in STEM and something I too, overlooked. But now, wrestling with writing a comprehensible personal statement, I realised the importance of being able to articulate your thoughts in an engaging, clear manner. The writers of this issue have honed their skills and have all done an amazing job.
“I hope whoever takes over Ingenium after I leave Trinity next year will be as inspired as the team and I have been.”
Ingenium was originally created in 2019 by Yash, brother of Ansh, who left Trinity in 2021. It is a project that aims to push students beyond the syllabus, develop key skills, and provide interesting content for university applications and interviews.
