The Festival of Ideas is set to take place on Monday, June 28th – a week-long celebration of academic curiosity which includes a whole host of student-led events.
A video explaining the thinking behind the event is available here.
Mr Ryan, English teacher and Head of Academic Projects, explains: “This year sees the inaugural Festival of Ideas take place in the penultimate week of the summer term.
“Students and staff from all over the school will come together to create a week of thought-packed events, workshops, talks, performances, exhibitions and presentations. Whether it’s dissecting rats, learning about robotics, taking part in a philosophy seminar, watching a debate, listening to live poetry and music or being wowed by the brilliance on display at any one of the various student exhibitions, everyone involved will be able to experience the sheer scope of academic curiosity that Trinity has to offer.”
“Keep an eye out for the festival boards around school and the daily bulletins on Firefly to make sure you don't miss any events!”
