Congratulations to former student Imani Lansiquot (who left the school in 2016), sprinter and Sky Sports Scholar, who has run her second fastest time to date with a 100m new season’s best of 11.24 seconds. Despite having to balance revision and exams with training, Imani was “super happy” to leave Regensburg, Germany, with a new season’s best. Imani captained the Great Britain team at the World under 20 Championships in 2016 and is the second fastest British junior of all time.
Imani is committed to her ambition of inspiring young women and shows there is “more to life than where you are from, or your background”. We wish Imani all the best and look forward to seeing what more she has in store this summer!
