Congratulations to Sixth Form student George Ogden who recently received his Gold medal and book prize from the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) British Mathematical Olympiad, Round 1. His results put him in the top 20 in the country.
Mr Patel comments: “We have now also received the results to the Olympiad Round 2. Both George and Varun Ravikumar achieved Distinctions!
“The mathematical problems are extremely challenging given that the students are provided with four problems to write up elegant solutions for in 3.5 hours,” he adds.
Well done to these students for such impressive results.
