A huge well done to Sixth Form student, Eloïse Smith, who has won third prize in the Oxford University Classics Creative Writing Competition.
Students had to write a poem in response to a picture stimulus. There were 150 entrants between 11 and 18, and the competition was judged by the Manar al-Athar photo archive, the Oxford Centre for Byzantine Research and the Classics Faculty.
