Last term, a total of 32 students participated in ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) exams, and we were delighted to learn that 16 students achieved Distinction grades. In addition, a special congratulations must go to Upper Sixth student Nathaniel, who passed the prestigious ARSM Diploma with 45/50—an extraordinary accomplishment.
The ABRSM exams are internationally recognized qualifications that assess a student’s musical progress and understanding. They encourage discipline, goal-setting, and the development of performance skills, making them a valuable part of a musician’s learning journey. By preparing for these exams, students gain confidence, develop perseverance, and deepen their love for music.
Mrs Regan, Director of Music, said, “It is wonderful to see music continuing to thrive at Trinity, as evidenced by the excellent set of ABRSM results achieved by our students. These results reflect the strength of the Music Department and the dedication and passion of the students. Congratulations to everyone who took exams, you have done us proud.”
