Our Junior Year ‘JBugs’ embarked on their first action-packed trip to the Boetius Centre, our popular outdoor activities base in Wales.

The sun shone down as the boys took part in exciting activities to build resilience and teamwork. They took leaps of faith, climbed, swam, and plunged into the water during an exhilarating gorge-walking adventure. The boys also tried kayaking and canoeing as well as enjoying a breath-taking waterfall walk. We were pleased to see the boys helping each other when some were more daunted by the activities than others.

The JBugs’ first visit to the Boetius Centre was a huge success, and they return home tired but triumphant.

The Boetius Centre is located on the south-western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park in the village of Coelbren, Wales. It is close to the wonderful walking areas of the Black Mountains and some of the most spectacular waterfalls and caves in Britain.
