Lower Sixth student Ross Ah-Weng has been selected to play violin for the National Youth Orchestra.

Ross will join other Trinity student Alex Wong, who also joined the orchestra last month.

The National Youth Orchestra is an orchestra of 165 young musicians and their aim is to be the most inspirational orchestra for young people.

Cristian Persinaru, Head of Strings, said: “I am delighted for both Ross and Alex on being selected for the National Youth Orchestra. They have worked hard for it and I have no doubt that they will have experiences that they will remember for the rest of their lives. I am very proud of them!”

Congratulations Ross and best of luck to both students!
