Trinity Triathlon is proud to announce that the race has been awarded London Region Best Children’s Event 2015. Tim Deakin, Race Organiser, said, “this is a fantastic accolade as London has probably the most popular events in the country and so to be voted the best of the best is superb. The key feature of Trinity Triathlon is the warmth and efficiency of our volunteer marshals and so a big thank you goes to all of them”.
Details of the 2015 Series are published here: http://www.triathlonengland.org/london/athletes/london_juniors/london_junior_series.
Thank you to all those of you who take the trouble to write in after the Triathlon. Every year we get some fabulous feedback, here are just a few of this year's comments from parents:
“Just to say thank you for your organization. My son completed his first triathlon today and thoroughly enjoyed it.”
“We just can’t thank you enough for such a well organised, fun and stress free Triathlon yesterday. It really is brilliant. My three who raced are all very different athletes and each of them said that they had a fantastic experience.”
“Just to stay thank you for organising another great event. This was our third year and the kids enjoyed themselves once more.” “First, thank you very much for putting on the triathlon today. I travelled up from the south coast with my son, Patrick, and he enjoyed his T1 race very much.”
“I would also like to convey my thanks to all the volunteers that acted as officials today. I thought that their attitude was outstanding. Firm and friendly and I am sure that their clear instructions helped everyone to feel confident that everything was running to plan. As an ex-Head of Sport I am only too aware of how much goes on out of the public eye, so a big thank you and well done to all the people who must have put in many hours in getting everything set up for the day.”
