Last Friday, while the school was still relatively quiet, we were delighted to welcome our new students in the Junior, First, Third and Lower Sixth Years for their induction afternoon.

During this time, the students got to know each other and their tutors. They learnt how to use their lockers, access cards and – more importantly – the school restaurant!

The JBugs, First and Third Years undertook a treasure hunt to familiarise themselves with the layout of the school. This prepared them well for the first day of term, knowing some faces and where they needed to go on arrival.

In the morning, we welcomed our new Lower Sixth students who were shown the wonderful facilities of the Sixth Form centre and spent time with their tutors and the Senior Prefect Team. They were then joined in the afternoon by last year’s Fifth Year students, and all took part in a number of communication and team building exercises. They did incredibly well in the challenges, and got to know each other too.

We hope all new students enjoyed their inductions and first week at Trinity, we look forward to getting to know and supporting everyone over the coming weeks.
