Over two weeks in July and August, the Alumni and Development team ran its hugely successful Telephone Campaign, raising over £110,000 in support of the Trinity Bursary Fund.
A dedicated team of recent alumni, including five from the Class of 2025, spent time having meaningful conversations with members of our community on the telephone. With warmth and enthusiasm, they shared stories, experiences, the latest news from the school and strengthened connections with our network of alumni, parents, and friends, who generously donated to the Trinity Bursary Fund.
The Trinity Bursary Fund was established in 2015, as we celebrated 50 years at our current Shirley Park site, having moved from North End in central Croydon to a purpose-built school set in 27 acres of green. While the John Whitgift Foundation provides £2.15m in bursaries, it is important to extend access to a Trinity education to as many talented young people as possible, removing any financial barriers. Everyone benefits from learning in a diverse environment, and we hope to continue to grow this support.
This year’s Telephone Campaign also marked the official launch of our ambitious #Trinity60 initiative, in the year that we celebrate 60 years at Shirley Park. #Trinity60 aims to fund 60 bursaries and challenges every member of the community to raise £60 towards this goal. This is a bold step forward in our mission to ensure that opportunity, not exclusivity, defines our future.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who took part in this year’s Telephone Campaign and those who were able to donate. Your support is helping to shape lives and build a stronger, more inclusive Trinity community.
