Three Trinity students are ‘Inspiring Change’ as they take part in a Festival of plays celebrating a positive and compassionate approach to mental health.

Lower Sixth students Nicole Bambroffe, Haig Lucas and Ellen Wyllie will present their original, devised piece, The Terrible Unending Why’s, at the Mitre Theatre, Trinity School, on Sunday 17 June and at the Arc Arts Centre, Caterham, on Sunday 24 June.

The group’s piece will sit alongside a collection of one-act plays, and other creative and informative events, that give insight into positive practice and build links between the mental health sector and the arts.

Beth Wood (Artistic Director of Prospero Theatre and Director of Mind Fitness), who is running the festival, said “We want the festival to ask questions and raise awareness, to profile the great work that is already going on, and to give people the opportunity to learn about a range of aspects of mental health”

Trinity’s Head of Drama, Levent Husnu, said “This is a fantastic project and we’re proud to be a part of it.  Our students have put in many hours of hard work so we are looking forward to presenting it to audiences”.
