More than 100 former students from the classes of 2015, 2016 and 2017 came together for a ‘buzzing’ reunion at The Trinity Club in Sanderstead over the summer.

The former students enjoyed catching up with each other, reconnecting with friends they had not seen since leaving and reflecting on their time at Trinity. They were also delighted to speak to several of their former teachers including Ali Faulkner, Sara Ward, Sue Highmore and Dave Lawson who joined them during the evening. The alumni shared their genuine gratitude for the support they had received from their teachers over the years.

Mrs Lewis, Alumni Relations Manager, was there and says, “It is always a revelation hearing about what our former students are doing with their lives after leaving Trinity. That evening I spoke to doctors, surveyors, a radio presenter, IT consultant, someone working at an Embassy and even a tattoo artist! It is so inspiring talking to young people who are finding their own ways through the traditional career path – or just ignoring it altogether.

“We even overheard an alumnus talking on the phone saying, ‘sorry mate, I’m going to give the birthday party a miss. I’m staying here – it’s really buzzing!’ There is no greater compliment, and we’d like to thank The Trinity Club for hosting this successful event. We hope that many of our younger alumni will look forward to frequenting the Club on a regular basis.”

Thank you to Dan Fearon, our photographer, for capturing the special moments of the evening. Head over to My Trinity, our alumni and professional networking platform for all the photos: www.mytrinity.org.uk
