Trinity students have been praised for another great whole-school production.
Students across all years spent months rehearsing this entertaining adaptation of Treasure Island. With an unforgettable cheese scene, expertly choreographed fight scenes and spectacular puppetry, audiences were highly entertained throughout.
With wonderful musical numbers and ensemble pieces, all housed within an amazing set designed by Tara Usher, students took roles both on and off-stage and demonstrated boundless energy and enthusiasm for the comedy adventure.
Sardines Magazine said “Another mighty musical from this Croydon school”.
Phil Willmott, who wrote this adaptation, came to watch the show on Thursday evening and was very impressed with the level of talent both on and off the stage. He said “It’s on a lot at schools around the world, but this is the first time I’ve accepted an invitation to watch. It was a treat both to see these great young performers clearly having a lovely time in it and to remember what fun we had in the first production at the Scoop”.
Chris Chambers, Head of Drama Productions, said “I am very proud of the hard work and dedication our students put into this production. It was very clear by the audience reaction that it was a hit for us”.
