Trinity Jazz Club

Rachel Sutton captivates audiences with her emotive and uplifting performances, filled with theatrical skill, humour and heartfelt expression. Her extensive repertoire, including her own compositions, is both an exciting and moving experience for her audiences. Released on 33 Jazz Records, her debut album, A Million Conversations, displays Rachel’s talent for songwriting that’s both uplifting and achingly tender. Jazz Views hailed the album as “a revelation… the music is of the highest quality.”

 

Rachel has performed sell out gigs at top London Jazz clubs as well as venues and festivals across the UK and abroad. Her role in Lansky: The Mob’s Money Man at The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank and Cadogan Hall received wide acclaim, with London Jazz News calling Rachel a “stand out performer… a revelation”  Rachel’s highly anticipated album, Realms, is scheduled for release in mid 2025.

Support will be courtesy of Trinity’s Jazz Collective, with students sitting-in throughout the evening.

The evening will be held in the Sixth Form Centre where there will also be a cash bar. Entry is £16.50 for adults, non Trinity students (U18) £6.00 and free for Trinity students and staff.

Doors open at 6.40pm and the music starts at 7.00pm. We anticipate the evening to finish just before 10.00 pm.
