Trinity Big Band 1 is excited to be making its debut at PizzaExpress Jazz Club, an award-winning London music venue in the heart of Soho, on Saturday 28 June. The venue has hosted notable performers including Gregory Porter, Diana Krall, Norah Jones, Amy Winehouse, Jamie Cullum, and Brad Mehldau.
With a swinging programme of music drawn from the libraries of Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller plus the songs of Cole Porter and Irving Berlin, this promises to be a fabulous afternoon of jazz.
Big Band 1 were 2025 winners of the National Concert Band Festival Platinum award. Their personnel includes players from Jazz Warriors, National Youth Jazz Collective, NYJO and Junior RAM. They recently worked with international trumpet superstar Louis Dowdeswell and have made many appearances at Ronnie Scott’s.
Doors open – 11.45am
