Community

Welcome to the Trinity Partner Primary Schools Website. We are proud to partner with our 17 schools to provide meaningful partnership work to our mutual benefit. Our work with you provides our students with valuable leadership opportunities, the chance to share their passions, and the chance to be engaged in our locality; something that has been at our core since our founding.

Our aim is to provide you with accessible, tailored activity that benefits your whole community. We hope some of our activity will involve you coming to see us, and links to a calendar and booking form can be found below. We know the logistical difficulties coming to us can present however, and so you can also find bookable activity that we can bring to you on these pages.

Below you will find a range of information to give you a flavour of the partnership activity that we love being a part of with you. As ever, the TPPS is about partnership and so if you have any feedback, ideas, suggestions, or questions, please do get in touch with Stacia Long at azl@trinity.croydon.sch.uk or use the suggestions box at the bottom of this page.

Lessons in a Box

Partnership only works if it is accessible! Our subject specialists have created a series of ‘lessons-in-a-box’ for our partners to book and deliver. Here you can get a sneak peek into what is in each of our boxes, click on the links to watch videos offering advice on their delivery, and our booking form so that they can be with you when you need them in your curriculums. If you have suggestions for additional boxes, please let us know!

Academic Inspiration

Throughout the year we offer a range of opportunities for our partners to come to Trinity. Examples of these include STEMLink, CHEMLink and COMPLink sessions that are designed to spark your students, imaginations in our Science, DT and Computer Science Facilities. In History we offer our engaging Saxons Day where we cast some light on the Dark Ages. From Bunsen Burners, to Engineering to Robotics, there are lots of ways we’d love to ignite your pupils’ aspirations as ours share their passions!

Sports

At Trinity, we love our sport, and our aim is for our students to leave us with the same love of physical activity whether that is purely for fun or at an elite level! Throughout the year we offer a range of tournaments and sessions for all abilities from beginner to our Allstars programme and our students, your ex-students, will be on hand to be helpful team managers as part of their Sports Leader’s Awards.

Staff CPD's

You have told us that the partnership work that often creates the deepest impact is in empowering your people to deliver things in house. As a secondary school, we are lucky to have a range of subject/area specialists and we offer a range of CPD at no, or significantly subsidised cost. Please find information on these courses below.

  • History CPD (Trinity staff attend schools to deliver specialist History CPD)
  • Computer Science CPD – staff are invited to attend our Computer Science CPD to learn how to teach a wide range of levels of coding and robotics
  • Mental Health First Aid – we provide a free space for each TPPS school to attend a fully certified, 2 day, Youth MHFA course through MHFA England
  • First Aid courses – we provide training here at Trinity, or at your school for larger numbers of staff
  • MIDAS training – Trinity provides free MIDAS training for all TPPS schools to train minibus drivers at our accredited training centre
  • Online CPD for Art and RS (Hinduism) Lessons in a Box

Please see our available boxes and book them here.
