With a swinging programme of music drawn from the libraries of Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller plus the songs of Cole Porter and Irving Berlin, this promises to be a fabulous afternoon of jazz.
Big Band 1 were 2025 & 2026 winners of the National Concert Band Festival Platinum award. Their personnel includes players from Jazz Warriors, Julian Joseph Jazz Academy, NYJO and Junior RAM. They recently worked with international trumpet superstar, Louis Dowdeswell, award-winning clarinettist, Pete Long, and have made many appearances at Ronnie Scott’s.
