Join us for a exciting collaboration between Trinity’s flagship jazz ensemble Big Band 1 and the touring Jazzhaus orchestra from Freiburg, Germany.
Jazzhaus Jugendorchester is a youth big band, established in 1985, composed of top young musicians from the southwest of Germany. The ensemble performs both classic big band repertoire, such as Duke Ellington and Count Basie, and music by contemporary British and German composers.
Working with Trinity Laban’s Latin Big Band Director, Pat Davey, the two bands will present an exhilarating programme of Afro-Cuban-infused grooves in a true celebration of World Music.
