While Storm Ciaran raged outside, inside the historic Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street, over 100 Trinity School alumni, spanning from the Class of 1968 to the Class of 2022, came together for an unforgettable evening of drinks, networking, and reminiscing.

It was lovely to see old friendships being rekindled, and welcoming new faces into the Trinity alumni community. The atmosphere in the Cheshire bar was buzzing, and filled with warmth and laughter.

What better proof than an alumnus asking the question, ‘When’s the next drinks event?’

The Trinity alumni community thrives on connections, both old and new, and so it was wonderful to see this in action here. It was also a great opportunity for the Alumni team to update everyone on all the exciting things going on at school. This includes their dedication to fostering connections across generations, as they continue to arrange fun events and unique opportunities to meet or share experiences to benefit all.

Photos from this evening have been uploaded to My Trinity, our dedicated alumni networking platform. If you would like to add any photos, you can HERE.

The next drinks event will be coming up early next year, so keep an eye out for details.

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese is an historic gem of a pub on Fleet Street, on the edge of the City of London.  The pub was rebuilt in 1667 after the original one was burnt down by the Great Fire of London.  Over the past 355 years the Cheese has been frequented by numerous prominent literary figures: Dr Samuel Johnson, Mark Twain, W.B. Yeats and Charles Dickens, who even featured it in his novel A Tale of Two Cities.
