We were delighted to welcome USA 7s Head Coach and Trinity parent Mike Friday to the school this week.
Fresh from his TV appearance on BT Sport on Wednesday evening, Mike spoke to students and staff about his experiences in sport, both as a player and coach.
Mike talked about the characteristics needed to be successful in sport, and to succeed in anything our students choose to do when they leave school. Referring to themes including flexibility, team work and working through challenges, the audience of our sports scholars, HPP athletes and other students were inspired.
He also discussed some of initiatives he has introduced whilst being Head Coach of the USA 7s team, which has seen them climb to number one in the World Rankings.
