The Classical Guitar Concert took place this week – the first live classical guitar concert at Trinity School for some 18 months, reports Mr Reck, Head of Guitar:

“It kicked off with a wonderful performance of music by the Beatles and Shostakovich  by our large classical guitar ensemble; Los Guitarristas. This was followed by some beautiful solos.

“The second half started with the Trinity Guitar Quartet giving a rousing performance of Libertango by Astor Piazzolla. We then heard some very engaging playing from our advanced players.

“Finally, the evening culminated in an amazing performance by Joseph Jenkins of Sunburst by Andrew York. A technical tour de force!

“Well done to all those involved!”
