Staff and students came together for our annual Charity Week last week, raising over £4,000 for causes close to our hearts.

Several events ran throughout the week, which kicked off with the Great Trinity Bake Off. This event was in aid of the Heads Together Campaign and was part of our ‘Healthy Minds’ theme of the fortnight. Over 40 students signed up to take part in this Travel themed competition. They were asked to create a bake that looks like a landmark, a mode of transport, or to bake something from another culture. Cakes were sold during break and lunch.

On Tuesday, Trinity’s Got Talent took place in our Concert Hall, also in aid of the Heads Together Campaign. There were wonderful talents on show, from talented musicians, singers, a magician, those with impressive sports skills and budding actors.

Our annual Swimathon on Thursday was in aid of the Marine Conservation Society. Twelve teams of swimmers competed to swim the furthest in their allocated times.

The week ended with Mufti Day on Friday. Each form chose their own charity to support with lots of games, competitions and doughnuts to eat during break and lunch!

We have also asked parents to help us support the Shrubland’s Trust Food Bank Collection. Alongside the food bank, Shrubland’s Trust also provide advice, help and assistance for those in the local community.

Thank you to all in our community who contributed to a fantastic week!
