The charity ‘Hospices of Hope’ provides hospice care for terminally ill children and parents in a number of Eastern European countries where there had otherwise been no palliative care for families.
In 2019 Trinity musicians toured Romania and raised funds to support hospices there, including providing two high quality digital pianos for the use of hospice residents.
Earlier this year, the charity once again invited Trinity’s musicians to assist with fundraising. We were able to give them films from our Autumn term concerts, in particular the string orchestra’s performance of Bartok’s Romanian Dances.
This event raised almost £2,000. Many thanks to everyone involved.
“We are delighted to have heard that the event in which our filmed performance became a key feature has raised almost £2000 for the charity.”
