This week week we welcomed local schools for the Croydon Catholic Schools’ Tag Rugby Festival.

Fourteen teams played competitive matches throughout the day. This event, however, was about more than just winning – it was to provide opportunity and enjoyment for all, so there was no overall winner.

Twenty of our Fifth Year students completed their Young Match Official award course during the day, taking their first competitive matches as referees, touch judges and time keepers.

Working in small groups, across four pitches, they ran the tournament and were complimented on their consistency, fair play and encouragement of the players by the specatators

Thank you to all involved!
