Members of the Trinity community came together at the beginning of this academic year for our annual Afternoon of Sport.

Over 300 alumni, parents, students and staff joined us for a fun-filled day for all the family.  Our tennis, squash and badminton courts were open; we had a bouncy castle on offer for younger children, and all our guests enjoyed a lovely BBQ.

This year marked the fourth consecutive year that we have run our Afternoon of Sport and this year proved another excellent year of friendly competition sporting prowess.

Our former students challenged our current students and staff in hotly-contested rugby, hockey, netball, football and water polo matches. Our current students had a slight edge over our alumni in hockey, water polo and football, but our 2013 alumnae triumphed in their netball match. Overall, however, our current students finished on top.

This year we were fortunate to witness a great performance by Trinity RFC 1st XV as they took on the mighty Purley John Fisher 1st XV in their first warm-up game of the season. An exciting match which saw Trinity RFC snatch the win.

Sport is an important part of the Trinity curriculum and we are delighted to open up our grounds. In addition, money raised from the proceeds of bar sales is donated to our forthcoming rugby and hockey tour to South Africa in 2021.
