Trinity alumnus David Picksley completed the Virtual London Marathon this weekend, at the inspiring age of 89.
David, who left Trinity in 1951, first completed the Virtual London Marathon in 2021 in 7 1/2 hours, and this year beat his time by nearly 15 minutes! He now has a taste for running and has also entered the ballot for next April’s actual London Marathon and, if he is successful in gaining a place, will be fundraising for charity.
Anyone who has attempted running the 26.2 mile race, will appreciate the commitment involved – we are in awe David, congratulations on a fantastic achievement!
