Third Year students challenged to a French competition

Calling all Third Years: Show off your French to win an Amazon voucher!

Et voilà! Mrs Salin, Head of French, is encouraging Third Year students to enter a French competition which is open between 22 May and 2 June.

‘Nutty Tilez’ is a realtime, multiplayer game for learning vocabulary which allows students to play against their classmates or against other students around the world. Each level introduces at least 20 new words which students must type quickly and accurately. They cannot move on until they master every word in each level. The game can be found on the ‘This is Language’website.

Mrs Salin says: “The students know how it works and they love it as they compete against each other. It will run throughout the half term holiday and the top three students will receive Amazon vouchers from the French Department as prizes!”

This internal vocabulary competition is open to all Third Year students doing French.
