150 students worked across 19 locations across our local community on Field Day last week.

Groups of students worked at two local ecology centres – Heathfield and Pinewood – helping to clear overgrowth and helping to set up an allotment space for pupils with special needs.

Smaller groups of students visited local care homes and sheltered housing, chatting to residents; helping run activities, and providing musical entertainment for them.

A group worked at Shrublands Trust, sorting donations and packing into food parcels for their clients, and another group were at Croydon Vision, working with their volunteers and receiving training on how to help those with sight loss.

Alongside our community activities, we also welcomed nearly 90 pupils from Highfield Junior School and Woodside Academy to take part in activities here at Trinity. These included building marble runs, programming bots, and letting off rockets.
