Second Year students enjoyed an interactive, virtual maths lesson to explore the surface area of 3D shapes.
Mr Barlow used a combination of online learning methods to explore this topic with the group.
From hosting live lessons with question and answer sessions, to marking scanned written work on OneNote, the class maintained their usual interest and focus (albeit in a relatively unusual setting at home!)
The shape of a cone can be a particularly tricky example when trying to understand the formula, so Mr Barlow tasked the group with making their own one at home as part of a practical exercise. The students rose to the challenge and came up with some great results!
